Firm Overview | CREATE d+d Architects
CREATE d+d Architects, LLC is a design-forward architecture and development firm rooted in rural revitalization, thoughtful planning, and people-centered design. Founded by Aspen Justine Thorstenson, CREATE specializes in multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality projects, with a strong focus on development-informed design solutions that balance feasibility, creativity, and community impact.
Located in Sioux Falls and licensure in six states, CREATE brings together a multidisciplinary team of architects, interior designers, and project managers who share a passion for elevating overlooked areas and underutilized sites. Our team’s background in both architecture and development allows us to bring strategic insight to each phase of a project—from feasibility studies and entitlements to full design and construction administration.
We value long-term client relationships, high-performance solutions, and a collaborative approach that respects both vision and budget. Whether working with private developers, municipalities, or regional institutions, CREATE is committed to designing spaces that are resilient, adaptable, and meaningful.
